What is PairBeat?
PairBeat connects two DJs so they can mix together in real time, no matter where they are.
It captures the audio directly from rekordbox and sends it to the other DJ with minimal latency.
No extra hardware needed — just your controller, rekordbox, and an internet connection.
How It Works
Ready in 30 seconds
Open
Launch PairBeat and rekordbox on your computer.
Activate Shared Mode
Enable Shared Mode so you can hear the other DJ through your controller.
Create or Join
Create a room and share the 8-character code, or join with a code your friend shared.
Mix together!
Bidirectional real-time audio. Mix as if you were in the same booth.
What is Shared Mode?
By default, rekordbox uses your controller in exclusive mode — only rekordbox can send audio through it. This prevents PairBeat from playing the other DJ's audio through your controller.
By enabling Shared Mode, both rekordbox and PairBeat can use the controller at the same time. This way you hear your mix AND the other DJ's mix.
If PairBeat doesn't detect your controller, check in rekordbox: Preferences > Audio and make sure your controller is selected.
